As a Respiratory Therapist, at North Knoxville Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our RRT staff enjoy 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, flexible scheduling, etc.
Requirements:
Current BLS is required & ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE Certifications required within 90 days of hire.Requires an associate's degree and a credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Will accept CRT. Current license in state of Tennessee as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.Job Duties:
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
