respiratory testing to patients with minimal guidance Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patientrsquos individual age specific needs and to provide individualized age specific treatments and careParticipates in additional training andor certification courses to develop expertise and skills to become certified to work in specialized clinical areas Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms pulmonary function lung capacity diffusion capacity and blood and oxygen tests for use by physician in diagnosing and treatment of pulmonary disorders Performs FeNo testing and minute walk testsCalibrate clean and maintain diagnostic equipment and recognize when equipment malfunctions The tech is also responsible for inventory and ordering of supplies Effectively communicate with patients to elicit appropriate responses in order to derive meaningful data Establish and maintain effective
