The Department of Psychology seeks a talented candidate to join our dynamic Research Advancement team in working with our faculty, research staff, and students to support and facilitate research. We are a collaborative team comprised of highly productive and creative individuals who are seeking a similar person who wants to play an active role in growing our research enterprise.
The position will perform post-award and financial transaction management duties. Post-award duties include guiding sponsor and University policies and procedures to researchers, assisting with the preparation and submission of required reports, processing of internal award management requests, such as at-risk accounts, no-cost extensions, rebudget of funds, sponsor approval requests, and account reconciliation and forecasting. Financial transaction management duties include working with unit staff on processing reimbursement payments, purchase order preparation and invoice processing, and review and approval of purchasing card expenses and travel requests and expense reports.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties. Ability to work both independently or within a complex structured team. Works from general instructions on standard job duties and specific directions/instructions on new assignments. Exercises judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action.
Arizona State University offers flexible work schedules and arrangements to include alternative schedules and remote work that are reviewed and approved per University guidelines. Remote work is negotiable.
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Three years of experience in a field appropriate to the area/unit of assignment OR Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been achieved.
