Restaurant - Breakfast Lead/Supervisor

Here is what you will be doing each day:

We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as a Breakfast Lead. As a Breakfast Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in all phases of the restaurant, events, and outlet operations, including In-Room Dining. You will ensure seamless breakfast operations and serve as a key point of contact for both guests and team members, especially during high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

Monitor food and beverage team members to uphold service standards and provide assistance as needed. Supervise guest service, ensuring a strong presence on the floor during all meal periods. Direct and monitor side work duty completion, including pre-, during-, and post-service duties. Secure payments and ensure team members follow protocol for gratuity distribution. Assist with the setup, replenishing, and breakdown of the breakfast buffet. Adjust staffing levels based on business volumes and occupancy. Assist with table service during high-volume periods. Review daily communication sheets from previous shifts and prepare reports for the following shift. Ensure restaurant and event spaces are clean, properly set up, and service-ready, including all patio areas. Comply with liquor requirements and safe food handling practices. Communicate with the Restaurant Manager regarding special events, service deficiencies, and house counts. Assist in conducting menu classes, taste panels, and departmental meetings. Provide clear directions to team members, both verbally and in writing. Comply with attendance rules and be available for PM or AM shifts, weekends, weddings, and events as needed. Support operational meetings and other job-related duties in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Ensure adherence to WCB regulations for handling chemicals and use of PPE. Foster a positive service culture, detailed product knowledge, and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Self-starting personality with a professional appearance and manner. Strong sales and upselling techniques. Ability to lead by example, "pitch-in," and help co-workers. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems. Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
