Restaurant District/Area Manager

Position Overview

As a District Manager (Area Manager) with Burger King, you are a recognized leader helping to uphold the values and standards that make our brand profitable and successful. Your goal will be to lead your teams in creating a welcoming guest experience by cultivating a strong organizational culture that makes Burger King the top quick service dining experience in Jacksonville.

 

Pay Transparency

Starting Pay - Up to $75,000 annually.

 

Summary of Responsibilities

Manages daily operations of the district to achieve sales, profits, and guest satisfactionEnsures proper staffing levels are achieved and maintains an ongoing system for staffing, recognition, and retention of restaurant management Creates crew and management workforce plans to maintain management stability Ensures the execution of quality, timely performance feedback and performance management Develops restaurant managers to maximize their contributions and future promotion opportunities.Ensures all food safety procedures are executed according to Company policies and health/sanitation regulationsPlans and conducts working restaurant visits with all levels of restaurant management to ensure the continual improvement of quality, service, and cleanliness standards Ensures protection of the Burger King brand and Company assets through District compliance with company policies and procedures. Evaluate store performance at specified intervals and coach management team as needed Develop plans to control expenses and achieve a budget for restaurant operating profit for each area of the Profit and Loss StatementsOvercomes operational challenges as they emergeEnsures all locations adhere to corporate and legal guidelines


Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED needed; 2 years of college preferredMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMinimum of 4 years multi restaurant operations management experience preferred. Proven track record of increasing sales and profits in a multi-unit market. Demonstrated ability to identify and develop leaders within operations. Demonstrated ability to coach and manage the performance of management teams.Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for an entire shift, including reaching for objects overheadPush, pull, lift, and carry up to 50+ lbs. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overheadProficient in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quicklyCritical thinking skills for unexpected circumstances, such as staffing shortages or customer issuesFinancial knowledge to manage the budget effectively and keep the restaurant profitableAnalytical skills to interpret reports and make data-driven decisionsCustomer service and people skills to create positive relationshipsReliable transportation requiredMust currently be in a Director Level role or equivalent. Valid Driver's license required
