**Primary Purpose:**
The primary purpose of the Restaurant Expeditor is to provide guests with an excellent restaurant experience by acting as an intermediate between guests and the kitchen staff. The Restaurant Expeditor ensures that orders are made to the quality standard of the Restaurant and that they are done and delivered to the guest in a timely manner.
**Work Performed:**
The Restaurant Expeditor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
+ Maintain stock and cleanliness of the expo station for all meal periods with necessary items (including sauces, dressings, ramekins, plates etc.)
+ Address guestcomplaints by prioritizing orders that need to be adjusted or remade.
+ Excellent time awareness.
+ Assist the line cooks to help keep orders coming out in a timely manner. This can include calling out orders or grabbing stock for them during a rush.
+ Must be able to interact with a variety of personalities-from cooks and back of the house staff, to servers, supervisors and guests.
+ Assist service staff as necessary to serve guests in a timelymanner;
+ May be asked to step in and assist servers with taking orders and serving guests on high demand evenings.
+ May be asked assist in clearing dirty table settings and prepare table forreset
+ Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; and
+ Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
**Qualifications:**
**Preferred Prior Experience:**
Six months of previous customer service and restaurant experience. Expo experience preferred.
**Preferred Education:**
High school diploma or equivalent
**Required Licenses/ Certification:**
Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.
**Preferred Technology:**
Previous experience with Micros operating system
**Physical:**
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Able to bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
**Other:**
Flexible to work day, early morning, evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts
