In this role, you will be overseeing the open of the Hotel de Coronado's Nobu Restaurant, managing a team of 75 Front of House Team Members, reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage.
\n\n
The ideal candidate will must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations (ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations). At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in an upscale dining environment is required. Strong beverage knowledge and prior luxury hotel experience are a plus.
\n\n\nClassification: Full-Time\nShift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.\nPay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.\n\n\n

\nNobu Del Coronado will offer over 3,700 square feet of stunning indoor and al fresco oceanfront dining space, including an outdoor covered patio dining with a pagoda bar and dedicated sushi bar.
\n\nWhat will I be doing:
\nAs a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a high-end restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff and driving profitability, with a strong focus on delivering a refined and sophisticated dining experience for guests; this includes managing the dining room team, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
\n\nPlan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation\nFoster a positive and professional work environment, motivating staff to consistently deliver exceptional service. \nMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counseling and coaching, and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward\nCollaborate with marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract new customers and maintain brand image.\nAddress guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.\nMaximize efficiency technology system(s) (i.e. Open Table)\nMonitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards\nInitiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wide\nRecruit, interview and train team members\nComplete administrative tasks\nEstablishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand\nAll other duties as assigned.\nWhat are we looking for?
