Job Description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Restaurant Innovation Specialist improves restaurant efficiencies by validating new equipment, smallwares, and back-of-house processes, ensuring all aspects are considered thoroughly for rollouts. They work closely with operators to identify challenges, gather feedback, and provide innovative solutions. This role also supports various departments in developing training materials, rollout plans, and staying up to date on standard operating procedures.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Supports the Restaurant Production Innovation Manager with key initiatives, innovation tests, rollouts, and food truck operations supportCollaborates directly with restaurant operators, growth, and business unit teams during restaurant testing, gathering and sharing feedback directly with the Innovation teamUnderstands and aligns with the purpose, scope, objectives, and success metrics of projects and initiativesAssists with the development and preparation of innovation initiatives before restaurant testingSupports restaurant validation and extended pilots by visiting multiple restaurant locations, tracking success, and suggesting adjustments based on feedbackPartners with various restaurant support departments to pilot and test back-of-house processes, smallwares, and equipmentActs as a liaison between restaurant operators and the Innovation teamContributes to evolving and solving operational challenges by implementing feedback from Restaurant LeadersRemains up to date on all in-restaurant initiatives, focusing on their impact on operations, equipment, and throughputProvides support for food truck operations and other company events as neededQualifications

Requirements for Success:

Restaurant industry experienceBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experienceAbility to quickly make decisions and changes on the fly to support restaurant needsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyMicrosoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and WordTravel up to 50% of the timeAdditional Information
