**Job Title: Restoration Technician** **Pay:** $22-$30/hr depending on experience **Location:** Burbank surrounding area (covering West LA, Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena) **Schedule:** M-F from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Job Description** We have an excellent reputation for quality construction and restoration of commercial and residential projects, including content manipulation and new builds. We are seeking driven and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team. As an Emergency Service Technician, you will be responsible for a range of restoration tasks, responding to emergencies, and maintaining high standards in every project. **Responsibilities** + Fire Damage: board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning, and pack out + Water Damage: extraction, drying, minor demolition, and pack out + Trash removal + Material/supply delivery + Mold Remediation + Restoration: contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasks + On-call rotation for new emergency calls + Maintain high quality and standards of the department + Strengthen the company's image with each customer and their insurance carrier + Assessment and Inspection: evaluate the extent of damage to buildings and structures + Emergency Response: quickly respond to emergency calls involving significant property damage + Damage Control: implement immediate measures to prevent further damage + Restoration Work: perform tasks such as water extraction, drying out structures, and cleaning up after fire damage + Demolition: safely dismantle and remove damaged parts of a structure + Mold Remediation: identify and address mold issues caused by water damage + Documentation: maintain detailed records of the damage, work performed, and materials used + Follow safety protocols and regulations + Quality Assurance: ensure that all restoration and construction work meets industry standards and client expectations **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of experience in restoration + Proficient in English communication and documentation + IICRC Certification **Why Work Here?** Our company offers room for growth, with many technicians getting promoted to estimators or project managers. The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a meeting at the shop in Burbank each morning. There is an on-call schedule requiring availability one weekend per month and alternating weeknights. The work area includes West LA, Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
