Also, to build the capacity of counties to understand, promote, implement, and expand restorative practices through inspiration, communication, planning, training, implementation, policy, assessment, and evaluation as a key strategy for addressing violence and harm on all levels. Those with lived justice system experience are welcome to apply. **Minimum Qualifications** _To ensure proper crediting, please include a cover letter and ensure your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed below and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each position held._ + Three* years of practical experience facilitating and promoting restorative practices for diversion as well as coordination, collaboration and training in restorative practice programs. + Utilize word processing software, e-mail communications software, web-based applications, and database system tools to extract, input and analyze data and write comprehensive reports that will withstand public scrutiny. + Effective public speaking/presentation skills, critical/analytical skills, and technical and curriculum development abilities. + Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities. Applicants who meet the above qualifications will be further evaluated on: + Motivation to reduce both systemic and interpersonal violence + Collaborative, appreciative, inclusive thinking + Effective at inspiring a passion and urgency for restorative practices in a wide range of stakeholders that results in ongoing supportive, consultative relationships. + Experience using cultural competency and navigating issues of race and culture to inspire greater compassion and competency + Skilled in human relationships sufficient to build networks of colleagues and to understand, inspire, collaborate with, negotiate, and develop consensus between colleagues, clients, and stakeholders often with different priorities. + Skill in multi-tasking and time management; ability to effectively achieve multiple goals and manage multiple projects, problems, and deadlines. *A bachelors degree or higher may substitute for one year of experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to translate technical and complex data and information into meaningful information that is clearly understood by others of various levels and interest. + Experience in qualitative research methods, including qualitative data collection and analysis and in particular research on restorative practices. + Skill in analysis, decision-making, and problem solving to evaluate policies, procedures, and processes, and to recommend and implement appropriate strategic plans. + Knowledge of best practices and guiding principles of restorative justice and an understanding of how restorative justice intersects with other policy and research areas (e.g., public health and safety, education, child welfare, economics, political science). + A completed degree from an accredited program in restorative justice, social work, psychology, public policy, criminal justice or related field. + Skill in planning, facilitating, and evaluating learning activities for adult learners **Physical Requirements** Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others and moving and transporting light objects frequently.
