This position exists to provide training, consultation and connection to resources supporting jurisdictional Restorative Practices Advisory Committee members, community members, restorative practices initiative administrators, volunteers and staff. Also, to build the capacity of counties to understand, promote, implement, and expand restorative practices through inspiration, communication, planning, training, implementation, policy, assessment, and evaluation as a key strategy for addressing violence and harm on all levels.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Three* years of practical experience facilitating and promoting restorative practices for diversion as well as coordination, collaboration and training in restorative practice programs.
+ Utilize word processing software, e-mail communications software, web-based applications, and database system tools to extract, input and analyze data and write comprehensive reports that will withstand public scrutiny.
+ Effective public speaking/presentation skills, critical/analytical skills, and technical and curriculum development abilities.
+ Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities.

+ Skill in multi-tasking and time management; ability to effectively achieve multiple goals and manage multiple projects, problems, and deadlines.
*A bachelors degree or higher may substitute for one year of experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Ability to translate technical and complex data and information into meaningful information that is clearly understood by others of various levels and interest.
+ Experience in qualitative research methods, including qualitative data collection and analysis and in particular research on restorative practices.
+ Skill in analysis, decision-making, and problem solving to evaluate policies, procedures, and processes, and to recommend and implement appropriate strategic plans.
+ Knowledge of best practices and guiding principles of restorative justice and an understanding of how restorative justice intersects with other policy and research areas (e.g., public health and safety, education, child welfare, economics, political science).
+ A completed degree from an accredited program in restorative justice, social work, psychology, public policy, criminal justice or related field.
+ Skill in planning, facilitating, and evaluating learning activities for adult learners
**Physical Requirements**
Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others and moving and transporting light objects frequently. Even though the weights being moved and transported may be a negligible amount, a job in this category may require positioning self to move to a significant degree or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods.
