Job DetailsManage applications (as a service) by monitoring and reporting to application owners on performance of applications against metrics and agreed service levels, user experience for conformity with requirements and intended functionality, capacity, licensing usage, certificate management, and resource/service utilization (especially for Cloud-based applications), and incident and problem management, including engaging in troubleshooting, service restoration, and problem resolution activities with engineering, application support, and end user support teams; Partner with engineering to foster a service reliability engineering (SRE) culture; Manage application life cycles (in consultation with app owners) by tracking and planning for updates, patches, fixes, and/or upgrades required to maintain the app in a fully supported state; Receive changes, upgrades and/or feature enhancements into production, including coordinating the performance of both technical and user acceptance testing; Track and plan for application end-of-support/life and the owners’ chosen disposition option (upgrade, replace, retain (unsupported)); Participate in the monitoring and management of service components approaching their end-of-support lifecycle phase; Develop and deepen domain knowledge in the portfolio of applications/solutions; Develop service management skills; and develop yourself and the people around you as a high-performance team.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technology or engineering field;6 years in retail service management (service delivery, application support, or application development);3 years working with ITIL or other service management process frameworks; and2 years of experience in retail architecture and technical design and in people leadership.May work remotely 100% from a home office location anywhere in the U.S. Travel to Goodlettsville, Tennessee is not required.
