We’re hiring for a Retail Assistant Manager to Live. Work. Explore. this summer! Job Summary: Supports the Manager in staffing, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing daily operations while adhering to budgetary guidelines for labor and sales goals. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: early-May through early-October 2025 Pay: $16.35/hr Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Glacier National Park? Follow all budgetary guidelines for labor and sales goals. Coach and ensure your associates are performing their job duties and providing customer service. Actively complete reports and evaluations to Managers. Work directly with vendors to order products and maintain inventory. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and detail oriented. Possesses management experience in retail environment Must have skills in effective oral communication, computer, and math in addition to strong problem-solving and resolution. Physical Requirements include: Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs. Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time. Working safely with required chemicals. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
