This support role will focus on providing: •Operational soundness by assisting with management of loan and deposit portfolios. •Support in activities conducive to generating revenue for the team and the bank. + Regularly participates in client and prospect research to help Retail Business Bankers Find, Grow and Keep new and existing client relationships. + Maintains direct contact with external and internal clients, and consistently provides proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. + Utilizes extensive knowledge of loan origination system, core, pricing tools, and other required systems to support the production team. + Accurately completes bank forms in a timely manner and demonstrates working knowledge of internal processes. + Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products. + Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. + Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. + Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. + May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. + Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words. + Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. + Embraces our vision to become “Business Bank of Choice” **About** **You:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred + High School Diplomaor equivalent.Required. + Minimum 3 yearsof banking experience or equivalent.Preferred + Proficient with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel. + Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships. + Advanced knowledge of cash management solutions and deposit solutions, including product, policies, procedures, practices and documentation. + Ability to train and present to small and large audiences. + Strong knowledge of business banking processes, procedures, best practices and documentation. + Ability to effectively manage and prioritize time **Workstyle:** Fully onsite. **Our** **Benefits:** We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits.
