Retail Construction Coordinator

Job Summary

The Retail Construction Coordinator works cross functionally with a range of stakeholders while coordinating the critical path for Windsor Fashions Retail expansion. They will coordinate remodels, relocations and the new store development process from the start of construction through completion of the project. They are responsible for successfully coordinating all work that needs to be completed in order for the store to open successfully.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Works closely with the assigned Construction Manager to ensure the overall project is on schedule and completed per scope of work. Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to effectively coordinate all vendors to accurately complete their jobs. Track daily process, identify and resolve issues throughout the project.  Communicate any issues to the Construction Manager right away. Must remain on site for the duration of the project, verify construction quality standards are met, and to ensure a timely opening. Must be professional at all times when traveling for Windsor. Follow all Company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong computer skills (proficient in Word, Excel, Calendar, etc). Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels. Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining levels of efficiency, organization, time management and attention to detail. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently. Must be able to travel independently 90 % of time and drive daily to assigned area stores. Must have a valid drivers license.

Physical/Environmental Demands and Overtime & Availability:

Frequently stands, walks, observes, communicates and reads.  Regularly moves and pushes.  Must be able to; access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run this job.
