Job Description Summary

This role will support America’s Retail Business Development and Consulting team to deliver an exceptional client experience. As a Client Strategy Analyst within the America’s Retail Platform, you will collaborate with senior team members throughout the business development and consulting cycle to create quantitative and qualitative insights and communicate them in presentation format. Clients are retail focused across a wide range of sectors including digital native brands, experiential/entertainment, and services. This role will provide analytical support, location research, statistical analysis, report generation and pitch preparation. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in leveraging analytical and quantitative methods to analyze performance and develop recommendations that support the client and team goals. Strong presentation skills of complex material are essential. This role will work out of a local office in the Cushman & Wakefield United States national footprint. Location and days in office are flexible.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Support the business development process with research, analytics, and presentation creation.  This will include partnering with internal research, utilizing PlacerAI and other technologies, and working with the internal marketing team.  Attend client presentations to assist and support senior team members.
•    Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and organize data into dashboards and presentation materials.  Interpret, evaluate, and interconnect research data to create client strategies.  Test methodologies and consistently evaluate new approaches.  
•    Assist senior team members in the research and development of white papers and industry reports.  Support interviews and public speaking events with research and data. 
•    Partner with retail operations to evaluate current retail data and determine opportunities to “tag” or “organize” into dashboards.  Evaluate industry penetration, client value, and broker performance. 
•    Possess collaborative, inclusive, engaging, inquisitive, and creative spirit. 


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, urban planning, or a related quantitative field. 
•    2+ years consulting and/or industry experience in commercial real estate experience preferred.
•    Strong knowledge and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Knowledge of mapping software (ArcGIS) and data analytics software (Alteryx & PowerBI) a plus
•    Effective project management, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge. Ability to create, compose, and edit high quality, error free written materials.

•    Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects, keeping all team members informed of progress and issues.
•    Well-grounded knowledge and ability to creatively use analytical and problem-solving techniques; distill complex information to the essential elements needed for client decision making; draw conclusions and record them concisely; manage quality control review of documents produced by the team; produce error-free analytical work.
•    Possess collaborative, inclusive, engaging, inquisitive, and creative demeanor.
•    Flexibility with work hours and travel, as needed. Travel estimated up to 10% but can vary due to client needs.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $106,250.00 - $125,000.00
