As a Retail Display Builder with American Greetings, you’ll be a vital part of our company’s purpose; To make the world a more thoughtful and caring place. We are looking for motivated and energetic crew members to join our team to build, assemble, construct, and tear down greeting card display fixtures in retail locations.

• The starting pay is $20.30 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location)
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $21.40.
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $22.50.
• Paid travel time to the job site when traveling in a company vehicle
• Hotel and a per diem are paid for overnight travel
• Full Training: all necessary tools are provided
• 401(k) with company match


Based out of Midvale, UT.

The weekly average hours are 20 hours per week. The weekly hours may increase to an average of 28 hours per week around holidays.

What are the major job functions of a Retail Display Builder?
• Construct greeting card shelves, racks, and displays
• Work well with other co-workers and store personnel
• Follow instructions along with planograms/diagrams
• Assist the Installation Supervisor in gathering and moving materials necessary to complete the display reset

What makes a successful a Retail Display Builder?
• Mechanical aptitude; along with practical knowledge and use of hand and power tools
• Enjoys labor-intensive work and can stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for out of town and overnight travel as needed
• Strong oral & written communication skills including reading & following written instructions such as planograms/diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
