Retail Distribution Center Operations Coordinator

Summary

Order Management is responsible for maintaining all open orders in the system daily and identifying any potential issues that may arise, then taking any necessary steps to ensure orders can be delivered on time and in full.

Primary Responsibilities

Review orders to confirm that items on the order are written correctly, have valid contact information for the customer, and detect any possible inventory concerns.Checking orders placed on a pending delivery date status, and scheduling for an accurate date once inventory has been reserved.Attempt to rectify any availability issues that develop at least 5 days before the scheduled delivery date, if issue cannot be corrected customer will need to be notified regarding a new delivery date.Manage aging orders that have been in the system over six months, identify the reason the sale has not been delivered and what action needs to be taken to achieve completion.Collaborate with other teams such as Supply Chain, Store Locations, and Distribution Centers to make sure orders are being delivered on time.Professionally communicate with internal and external customers to resolve concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

Reliable attendance1 year customer service and/or office experienceProficient computer skills and background in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-taskHigh school diploma or equivalent
