What Will You Do?

The Retail Distribution Center (RDC) Operations Supervisor will lead and develop a team of Ashley Associates; with focus on motivating, mentoring, and coaching the team. This position will be responsible for engaging the team to ensure they maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and productivity. The RDC Supervisor will provide their associates with the tools needed for success. This position must drive productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem solving. The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Superintendent directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including labor & scheduling, supervision and proper utilization of space, equipment and man power. Maintains accountability for the safe, efficient and Lean Operation of the facility and equipment. The RDC Supervisor is responsible for all safety, quality, productivity, process improvement, and performance management for the assigned process path.

Supervises and monitors activities engaged in receiving, stocking, picking, assembling, conditioning, inventory of products and delivery.Works with the system to improve inventory processes with respect to productivity and quality (picking, put-away, receiving, MTOs, customer pick up, etc.) to ensure a lean, efficient execution in all the processes.Receiving auditEnsures proper Slotting of productsSupervises the overall flow of product through warehouse is taken as per Standard Operational ProceduresEnsures proper product handling to avoid product damaged and loss.Develops receiving work scheduleResponsible for customer pick up

What Do You Need

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics or related field or equivalent work experience, Desired3 years of experience in warehousing receiving, RequiredCompany-issued industrial vehicle license, or ability to obtain within 30 days, RequiredKnowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen Process Improvement methodologyAbility to thrive in an ambiguous environmentAction Oriented - dedicated to making and meeting deadlines
