Job Description: As a Retail Facilities Manager 1 at Kwik Trip, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operations of multiple retail locations within your assigned zone. You will ensure that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational to uphold our standards of well maintained, safe, and operations to ensure excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management: Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and service calls for all aspects of store equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, fuel equipment, carwash equipment, and electrical systems.Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services. Obtain quotes, oversee work quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.Invoice Management: Review and approve invoices related to maintenance and repair services. Ensure accurate billing and cost control.Preventive Maintenance: Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.Manage Escalation Requests: Manage escalation requests from Retail Leadership and New Stores within the assigned Zone.Facility Improvement Planning: Identify equipment improvement opportunities and track for Cap Ex Project planning.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, or related field preferred.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Typical schedule: Monday – Friday days with on-call responsibilities
