Respective client is a global financial services firm with a large North American portfolio. Services include managing the operations and maintenance of a portfolio of retail banking centers within strict compliance with stated Scope of Work, specific Policy and Procedures and defined business plan objectives.Job Description
Responsibilities
Ensures the day-to-day operations of the retail facilities including janitorial, life-safety, engineering and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with C&W policies and ownership directives This is to include the management of contracts to assure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as needed and assures invoices match contract pricingCharged with the supervision of all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the propertiesResponsible, at all times, for a positive and prompt response to requests from occupants and for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to constantly assess tenant and occupant needs and to assure problems are being solved promptly in accordance with contract scope and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)Actively participates in the preparation of operating plans and budgets, financial reports contracts, expenditures and purchase orders related to the facilities within their portfolioAssist in the development of capital budgets for the property This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvement, and cost reduction initiativesResponsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of such statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectivesFacility Manager shall be thoroughly familiar with the management contract and all requirements contained thereinRequirements
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate commercial acumen in areas of improving business performance at a strategic and practical levelBachelor’s degree or commensurate experienceCFM, FMA industry certifications recommended; other Engineering, Business or technical training or certifications a plusWorking experience with accounting systems, preferably Yardi, as well as internal and external audit functions requiredExperience as a department head including business planning, budgeting, personnel management and staff modelingExperience in managing business operations within a fixed cost environment and ability to minimize financial exposureExperience in vendor contract administration, financial control, staff management property and facility management requiredExcellent understanding of operational cost control, vendor management and quality assuranceMust be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, other department heads and client representativesEnergetic, lateral thinker with an enquiring mind and a commercial approachExperience in the development and implementation of programs to drive out cost inefficienciesHigh degree of personal drive and motivation to succeedGood communicator (written and verbal), with high quality report writing skillsAbility to learn quickly and keep abreast of developmentsCommitted to achievement of assigned goals and targetsAbility to multi-task and maintain progress on multiple projects and processes.Physical Requirements

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
