The Retail Manager has complete responsibility for the operations of the property’s Gift Shop.
ResponsibilitiesWhere You'll Make an Impact:
Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiencyMonitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budgetPlan and oversee in-store promotional events or displaysKeep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the storeAnalyze sales and revenue reports and make forecastsEnsure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelinesResponsible for implementing processes, procedures, and sequences of service relevant to the operation and development of the Gift ShopEnsures effective support, coaching, evaluation and mentorship of the Gift Shop Team MembersResponsible for leading and mentoring Team MembersResponsible for the development of department initiatives, response to service related concerns, and Team Member relationsMaintains awareness of departmental KPIs; ensures that one-on-one conversations and individual Team Member KPI reviews take place on an uninterrupted mannerStrategizes on the enhancement of departmental outcomesFacilitates the flow of information throughout the departmentRecommends enhancements to current processes, policies, procedures, and sequences of serviceOversees training facilitation and coaching of direct reports in understanding their duties and provides clear expectationsEnsures scheduling practices remain in alignment with business trends and financial objectivesEnsures Team Members’ records, requests for time off, disciplinary actions, and special accommodationsOther duties as assigned.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.Three (3) – Four (4) years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouchAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbsAbility to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
