**Temporary Jewelry Sales Associate**
**Location:** **Newark, CA**
**Job Type:** **Temporary (Through March 23, 2025)**
**Pay Rate** **: $22.00 - $24.00/HR**
**Schedule:**
+ **Associate #1** | Monday - Friday (10AM - 7PM)
+ **Associate #2** | Saturday (10AM - 7AM) & Sunday (11AM - 7PM)
**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a motivated and friendly Temporary Jewelry Sales Associate with excellent customer service skills. This position is temporary, as the employee will be assisting with sales for a store that is closing on March 23, 2025.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Greet customers and help them find jewelry items.
+ Provide information about jewelry features and care.
+ Keep the jewelry counter clean and organized.
+ Ensure the security of jewelry by following proper handling procedures.
+ Refresh jewelry displays to keep them attractive.
+ Answer customer questions and recommend products.
+ Help with inventory checks and report any issues.
+ Other duties as needed.
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience in retail sales, especially in jewelry, is a plus.
+ Good communication and people skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
+ Basic math skills for handling cash.
+ Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand for long periods.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
**Duration:**
Temporary position through March 23, 2025.
