Retail Lending Product Manager III
Retail Lending Product Manager III   The Retail Lending Product Manager will support a portfolio of loan products. This position will particpate in the development and implementation of strategy for consumer and small business loan products as well as the management of related projects. This would include aspects related to product design and development, pricing, profitability, product enhancements, competitive positioning and integration into sales planning. This position is national in scope, primarily supporting the Retail Bank. This encompasses identifying, defining, prioritizing and completing on-going tasks and projects for the assigned product group. The incumbent will lead the identification of the resources needed to complete projects, manage the development of reports, lead special projects, identify issues and make recommendations for resolution and/or improvement. Individual will assist with the annual plan process from the financial standpoint for assigned products, evaluate performance against plan and adjust as necessary throughout the year. This individual will work closely with the manager in all facets of Product Management.   Position Responsibilities:   Product Management Participate in team strategy development, planning, road map management, and project planning process. Manage performance within key financial metrics. Coordinate department committees, prepare minutes, track action items, and ensure commitments are met. Project Management Form and manage project teams across department and/or Bank. Lead implementation and delivery within agreed upon parameters.   Analytics/Metrics Evaluate financial performance versus key metrics. Monthly reporting and analysis. Industry Knowledge/Competitive Analysis Keep updated on industry trends and changes. Monitor competition from product changes and enhancements. Manage competitive positioning and integration into the sales process. Risk Management Keep current on regulatory environment and suggest changes as needed to maintain compliance. Participate in vendor risk management assessments. Manages, identifies, documents, and suggests improvements to risk related controls, policies, procedures, and processes. Protects information and identifies opportunities for data management improvements. Proactively communicates and escalates issues, ensures business activities and decisions are aligned with the bank's risk appetite and expectations, offers solutions, and follows up.
Position Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant experience 5 years banking/financial service experience 5 years project management experience 3 years product management experience 3 years vendor management experience 3 years budget planning including profit and loss experience 3 years of Microsoft Office Products experience Comerica Great Lakes Campus
