Through your leadership, your team will make a real impact every day. Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager to join our award-winning program at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.  The Retail Manager will oversee the campus food court, coffee kiosk, and café in the college athletic venue at this private liberal arts college. The successful candidate will have oversight of day-to-day operations, successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff, and achieve company and client financial targets and goals.

What You'll Do Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers.  What We Offer

What You Bring have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;have at least 2-3 years food management experience with a focus on front of the house retail operations, catering/banquet management experience is a plus;has strong understanding of POS systems, cash handling management and computer software can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
