Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 3 for our University account in Thibodaux, LA. Nicholls State University is located in Thibodaux, Louisiana, approximately 55 miles from New Orleans. Nicholls State has just over 6,000 students of which 1,100 live on campus. Sodexo manages several food outlets including Resident Dining, a multi-concept food court, a convenient store and a Chick Fil A. We will soon have a Smoothie King and a Starbucks on campus. We are looking for a leader that can manage our retail operations. If you have what it takes, we would like to discuss this opportunity. Sodexo has enjoyed a 30+ year partnership with Nicholls State University, and has recently entered into an agreement that extended our partnership for an additional 20 years.

The successful candidate will:
have oversight of day-to-day operations, deliver high quality food serviceachieve company and client financial targets and goals, develop and maintain client and customer relationshipscreate a positive work environment while ensuring Sodexo standards are met.have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaborativelycan manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as neededlead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes; and/or train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards. Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
