Retail Manager is responsible for the success and viability of the pro shop merchandise concession. Plans, purchases, coordinates and merchandises inventory of pro shop products offered for sale. Tracks, documents, manages and promotes pro shop product sales and implements inventory control. Maximize sales and profitability through the development and implementation of strategies, analysis and appropriate reaction to sales trends.
Inventory/Sales Control:
Create applicable Open to Buy plan in conjunction with yearly budget/sale/and cost of sales Control Open to Buy through sell through analysis and reports Oversee and manage inventory control and physical inventory count Implement all stock orders and re orders Responsible for checking and receiving of merchandisePurchasing/Buying Merchandise:
Provide excellent buying strategies that result in high sell through Merchandise stock to floor with all inventory in shop excellent vendor relationshipsDesigning/Shop Set Ups:
Create visually pleasing and user friendly displays Display merchandise through use of color stories Create "special item" displays Keep shop in clean and orderly fashion Create interesting and attractive holiday and/or special event displayPersonal Selling Techniques:
Educate staff through product knowledge seminars and classes Create an information handbook for each golf shop staff member to learn and review Create, organize and head any sales events and promotions Run trunk show and informal vendor events throughout the yearAbout Troon
