Job Description:

The Retail Market Manager (RMM) contributes to AMCB TD Bank's overall strategic goals by leading the financial performance, customer experience and operational efficiency of store locations within a specific geographic area. This leadership role is accountable to drive consistent execution of behaviors and outcomes in Store Managers to achieve financial performance, customer experience and operational efficiency. This role develops market strategies to achieve business objectives and to maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.

Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and driving effective performance management, as requiredDevelops and executes market-level strategies to meet sales and revenue targets. Drive the growth of deposits, loans and other retail banking products. Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand customer baseOversees and leads a network of diverse Stores while monitoring and evaluating performance and growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals, leads by example in promoting company values and culture, supports project/initiative success and achieving business resultsLeads a strong culture/risk framework within the region by ensuring stores are adhering to all banking regulations/internal policies to ensure optimal regional performance related to retail operations, loss, risk exposure, controllable expenses and supports ongoing development, long term business plan goals and operational integrity, adherence to risk requirements and operational processes; ensure Team adapts to evolving regulatory expectationsDrives/influences a risk mindset, understand and operate within the risk appetite for TD. Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience10+ years of relevant work experience in a retail banking, financial institution preferred, ideally leading multiple branches.5 years of management experience preferably in a retail banking environment with consumer lending experience preferredPrevious sales and business development experience Exhibits strong leadership competencies, collaboration, flexibility, influence, innovative, creativity, integrity and passionStrong understanding of store operations, policies and proceduresProven ability to multi-task in a fast- paced sales environmentProven ability to negotiate, manage relationships and influence across business linesProven experience in reducing risk in branch environments
