We are looking for a qualified marketeer to join the Acer team. This candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of marketing programs in the US consumer market as well as syndicated content across the North America retail channels. This includes engaging with retail partners across the US and executing creative marketing strategies to drive sales of Acer products as well as overseeing content marketing initiatives to ensure engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. In addition to the marketing and account management requirements, the candidate must also be competent in managing digital assets management sites (photo library), Web Collage and Amazon A+ content.
As a Retail Marketing Manager, you will also be responsible for some tactical tasks which include but are not limited to managing invoices, collecting Proof of Execution (POE) examples and submitting claims to technology partners for marketing activities.
Job Responsibility Development and implementation of strategic marketing communication plans across the US Consumer Retail market. Work with 3rd party technology partners to develop co-branding initiatives, sales tools, and segment thought leadership marketing pieces for Acer. Work with product management, segment marketing, advertising agency, web teams, marketing operations, and finance to ensure the proper promotion of products. Prepare reports, including campaigns, recommendations, and post-mortem results of marketing activities. Create and publish engaging content for US and Canada retail sites. Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic Responsible for conceptualization and design of various graphic applications for U.S. Retail such as collateral material, POS material, in-store merchandising, training materials, retail event support, brochures, weekly ads, on-line creative, and more. Other responsibilities include photo editing and collage, color correcting, concept designs, logo design, poster design, magazine advertisements and much more. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout Assure consistent brand look and feel and that products are properly represented both on-line and in store. Work with others, such as printer companies, display companies, vendors and others to complete the final product. Requirements In depth understanding of marketing activities including all forms of digital communications and traditional marketing tools The candidate must have a strong ability to think and act strategically, have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must have a strong ability to work with internationally based product and marketing teams. This person must be highly creative and a self-starter with exceptional design skill including the technical skills included in Adobe Creative Cloud such as Illustrator and Photoshop as well as InDesign, PowerPoint, and in some cases 3-D rendering applications and animating banners is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 5 years work experience in the US consumer market and/or design. 3-5 years of retail marketing experience. PC industry experiences a plus.
