Retail Office Manager
Job Summary: This position will be a hybrid office manager and cashier/customer service on the sales floor.  This person will complete office duties for 20 hrs/week, then cashier/customer service for 20 hrs/week. Essential Functions: + Provide excellent service to customers. + Treat all team members, vendors, and customers with courtesy and respect. + Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner.  + Answer store telephone, transfer calls/take messages, etc. + Count money and reconcile cash from previous day’s sales. + Update all daily reports (daily journal, sales/credit card report and over/short). + Review cashier reports to find cash over/shorts. + Apply payments to A/R accounts as they are received. + Pick up mail daily and distribute to the appropriate team members. + Email Do It Best invoice summary, including the inventory receipt number, to the Central Office daily. + Email non-Do It Best invoices, including the inventory receipt number, to the Central Office daily. + Help resolve issues with purchase orders before sending to Central Office. + Turn in all necessary paperwork to central office. + Utilize packing slips to accurately receive inventory into Spruce. Scan all packing slips with bar code sticker into Spruce. + Help update and maintain the accuracy of rewards member database. + Check email frequently throughout the day and correspond as needed. + Order office supplies for store. + Provide in store support as needed including, but not limited to ringing out customers, price changes, cycle counts, other customer service duties, etc. + Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain situational awareness. Identify and report any safety issues or concerns to management. + Help out in other departments as necessary. + Follow all company policies and procedures. + Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is inside the store. The noise level in the work environment is usually low. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.  + Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking throughout the day. + Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week. Weekdays, Mon – Fri.   Office Mgr duties 20 hrs/week, Cashier/Customer Service on sales floor 20 hrs/week. Required Education and Experience: + High School Diploma or GED + 3+ years of office management/reception experience preferred. + 1+ years of retail experience a plus.
