This role will be responsible for opening and/or closing the store, overseeing associates, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a secure and organized environment. This job will also be responsible for upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy within the store. Depending on business need, this position may be full-time or part-time. This is a key holder position. Brand Integrity, Pet care Operations and Overall Customer Experience - Supports the associate and customer experience at all levels and ensures pets in our care are safe and healthy. Follows company Policies and Procedures to prepare for and receive new store owned pet arrivals. Maintains store standards and leads a culture of empowerment by ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures (P&Ps) and code of ethics. Merchandising and Inventory management - Optimize sales through merchandise strategies, managing inventory with audits and trend analysis, and operating POS systems accurately and in compliance with company policies. People Leadership - Guide sales associates in merchandise handling and product knowledge, fostering their development through recognition, training, and coaching. Communicate company information and priorities effectively to align with expectations. Lead and direct hourly associates during leadership duties, recognizing and celebrating contributions to overall engagement. What we’re looking for Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career. 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. Proficiency in computer applications.
