Key Responsibilities / Accountabilitie:

1/ Customer account management

Support Sales Manager to manage customer accounts.

2/ Brand Consultant Regular Management

Manage and drive engagement of a team of 15 BCs (Brand Consultants) - 8 under Pernod Ricard contract and 7 under third-party agency contract dedicated to PR brands: Maintain/improve highest standards of working and performance. The number of BCs is subject to increase according to business evolution.Ensure recruitment of the right team members in conjunction with the agency (screening, interviews), working closely KAM, BCs.To be key liaison with third party agency.Check and ensure BC shift is appropriate dates (covering peak period, sales hours, pay leave etc.) if necessary, discuss with BCs and adjust it. At the end of month, consolidate working attendance record and submit to HRBe available for BCs of daily basis communication by email, telephone, Teams with BCs across Japan about feedback (good/improvement), questions, concerns, any news for store, competitors’ activity, any opportunities at stores. Any issues to be discussed/solved with the team.Ensure if the sales progress is fine to achieve monthly target. If sales not working well, discuss/gather information from BCs, any proposal, and advice/encourage BCs.Monthly BC Report: Collect and study 2 reports at the beginning of month. If any unclear/missing parts, communicate with BCs. Analyze if sales is aligned with monthly target by store working closely with Sales Manager, discuss with BCs for improvement.Keep track with real time feedback on competitor and retailer activity at counters plus all key happenings / news/ changes – BCs are “eyes and ears” at the counters.Arrange uniforms, counter tools working with HK marketing for BCs.Recruit third-party promoters with right skills and train promoters working with BCs/Marketing/Training team. During HPP, Regular communication with BCs, store to collect feedback and bring it to internal discussion for solution/action. Gather result, feedback, from BCs, store, etc. and share both good and improvement to the team.

3/ Brand Consultant Training Management

Coordinate/execute for new BCs for training working closely with Marketing team and HK Training team. Organize appropriate product training and kick off meeting trip for Brand Consultants and generic store staff working closely with Marketing team, Training team and Sales Manager based on training plan and on guidelines.Once Training date confirmed, communicate with BCs, Operators, (Online/Offline) and gather attendance numbers.Arrange training venue, transportation booking, translation company, rental tasting glasses, necessary tools (Sample bottles, gift, handout materials, etc.), working closely with Assistant Sales Administration Manager and Marketing team.Implementation of Training application working closely with Marketing and Training team and ensure BCs learn/utilise efficient/sufficiently. Follow up with BCs if works well, any improvement.

4/ Retail Excellence Management

Conduct field visits to ensure/improve best visibility and retail excellence execution are always maintained. And updated brand presentation products display such as brand personalized Wall bays, Gondolas, and branded spaces, plus presence within generic spaces in retailer stores across airports.When there are any damages, issues, etc, found/reported from our customers, Brand Consultants, work with PR HK Retail Deisgn Team, Marketing team and local suppliers to solve issues and share the completion to all stake holders.Ensure coherent and updated Light Box brand guideline working closely with Marketing team and REX team.Prepare tent card working with marketing team and provide it to stores/Brand Consultants.Prepare price card (new items, price change) and delivery to stores.When there are any needs from stores, Brand Consultants of tent card customized based on the space, special situation, work with Marketing team, prepare/deliver it to stores.Support with REX team, Marketing team, KAM very closely when there are counter updates and renovation project for execution.

5. Reporting and A&P(BC/Promoters) PO Operation

Monitor and analyze sales performance by-store/counter from daily communication with Brand Consultants and monthly reports. Work closely with KAM for sales analysis and further plan/proposal and take actions.Monitor competitors’ trends, activity, price, new products, information from daily Brand Consultants communication. Work with KAM for further action plan.Operate monthly/LE A&P PO creation/Invoice and approval process using SFDC for all related to people; PRJ 8 BCs, Agency BCs and Promotion Promoters working with HR, Agency, Japan and Hong Kong Finance team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BA degree in BusinessAt least 5 years relevant experience in the industry (travel retail /wine & spirits / FMCG and luxury brands) and/or similar functionFormal sales qualifications/experience an advantage.Evidence of success in negotiations or management with customers is an advantage.Motivated, proactive and team player with good working attitudes.High-energy with exceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong presentation/communication and negotiation skills are essentialStrong effectiveness, results orientation and analytical skillsStrong ability to plan and adapt to changing environmentFluency in English and Japanese

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to travel domestic on a frequent basis. Estimated travel 25%.
