Location Name New York Office ResponsibilitiesThe Retail Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting our Guideshop locations through building and refining processes, tools, and communication to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. A Retail Operations Specialist must have strong communication and people skills to work cross-functionally with various teams across the business, including Visual Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, HR, Technology, Real Estate, Facilities, Training and Product teams. The Retail Operations Specialist will report directly to our Manager of Retail Operations and partner with the Training Specialist, Director of Stores and District Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Guideshop locations in managing daily operations and executing strategic business initiativesEnhance the customer experience by working with partners across the organization to continually improve Guideshop operationsPartner closely with District and Guideshop Managers as an expert in operations, systems, business tools, and reportingDesign communication plans for new Guideshop initiatives and collect, edit, and publish daily Guideshop communicationsSupport Guideshop locations with day-to-day operational tasks including troubleshooting technology services, system access management, reporting supervision, and system/policy constructionBuild and distribute custom reporrtng solutions for Guideshop locationsLiaise Guideshop facilities maintenance and ensure emergency procedures are in placeSupport construction projects and work with cross-functional teams in new store openings and store improvement projectsMonitor Guideshop operations budget and create tools to drive continuous improvement in expense controlMaintain vendor relationships and partnerships for Guideshop systems and suppliesSupport the execution of regular Guideshop strategic and educational conferencessIdentify and implement innovation opportunities in Guideshop systems, tools, and technology
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Have 3-5 years of relevant retail operations, retail facilities, or similar experience Thrive on working collaboratively with equally action-oriented and dedicated members of a teamHave exceptional written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate extraordinary problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload Have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively to grow company profitabilityAble to travel to markets across the country to support Guideshop locationsMust be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
