Retail Pharmacist PRN

Job Summary

Provide daily patient focused clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of all age groups of Lakeland Regional Health System to include, but not limited to, medication dosing, chart review, patient education, floor rounds and physician intervention. Participate on committees and give special reports. Rotate through the distributive pharmacy as scheduled.

Essential Functions

Directly perform order entry in the pharmacy; Provide all of the functions as a staff pharmacist; Perform other duties as assigned.Provide patient and community education; Participate in the staff development education program; Provide clinical training to Pharm. D. students as assigned.Perform accurate and timely input of interventions and ADR’s.Committed to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy2 years of relevant experienceAmerican Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice PreferredLIC-Clinical Pharmacist - STATE_MI State of MichiganLIC-Pharmacist Controlled Substance - STATE_MI State of MichiganCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart AssociationCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
