We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Project Director to lead our retail real estate initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the team in all forms of retail related projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maximizing value for our clients and stakeholders.WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop and implement strategic plans for retail real estate projects, including new developments, renovations, reconfigurations, programs and rapid renovations.Oversee all aspects of project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and design development.Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, property owners, investors, local authorities, and internal teams.Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure project designs meet market demands and retailer requirements.Provide insight and guidance in lease negotiations with anchor tenants and oversee the leasing strategy for the entire retail mix.Support team to ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and industry standards throughout the development process.Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.Analyze retail trends and consumer behavior to inform project decisions and maximize the long-term value of retail assets.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field. MBA or Master's in Real Estate Development is preferred.10+ years of experience in retail real estate development, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.In-depth knowledge of Financial institutions and the retail industry, including current trends.Strong understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and feasibility studies for retail projects.Experience in managing all types of projects including large-scale, complex projects with budgets exceeding $50 million.Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.Strong network within the FI sector, retail and real estate industries.Strategic thinker with the ability to envision and execute long-term retail development plans.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and stakeholders.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to respond to rapidly changing retail landscapes and consumer preferences.Detail-oriented while maintaining a big-picture perspective on project goals and market positioning.Collaborative leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with diverse teams and partners.This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our client's properties.
