The Retail/Rental Sales Associate will be an essential Woodward Park City's Guest Experience team member, reporting to the Woodward Park City Guest Experience Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment, greeting, and assisting guests in outfitting. Other duties include but are not limited to generating sales, completing sales using POS with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining awareness of promotions, sales, and advertising, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of retail products. Our retail/rental associate will effectively promote and deliver exceptional guest service to exceed guest expectations and enhance their Woodward experience in a fun, informative, and efficient environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide the highest level of guest service to internal and external guests, focusing on product knowledge, guest service, and engagement.
Always ensure an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
Oversee retail inventory, tagging/pricing, counting and recording inventory, and appropriate purchasing procedures needed for purchasing and recording sales.
Responsible for proper liability release distribution and filing for year-round activities.
Ensure consistent opening/closing procedures and processing of cash banks.
Work with internal and external departments to ensure one seamless guest purchase experience.
Maintain safe and clean working environments.
Set a positive example and be a role model.
Attend clinics and training as scheduled.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
Support operations as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Previous retail/rental experience preferred.
Passion for the action sports industry.
Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry.
Basic computer skills.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and to work as part of a team to achieve goals.
Basic Requirements:
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
