**Qualifications & Experience**
**Scope of the Role:**
As a **Retail Team Supervisor** , you'll be at the heart of LEGOLAND Discovery Centers operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of our retail areas. Youβll lead by example, inspire your team, and focus on maximizing **Per Cap spends** and **Average Transaction Values** . ππ΅ Youβll be the guiding force that ensures weβre delivering world-class experiences to guests and driving the performance of our retail team!
**What Youβll Do:**
π« **Lead by Example:**
+ Be the ultimate example of excellence on the floor! Inspire your team to provide exceptional service and meet/exceed **KPI and Mystery Visit targets** .
+ Deliver **world-class guest experiences** with a smile, every single time. π
π§βπ« **Train & Support Your Team:**
+ Deliver initial and ongoing training to ensure the Retail Team is equipped for success.
+ Support in hiring, onboarding, and nurturing growth through **Personal Development Plans** and regular feedback. π―
π **Maximize Sales & Guest Satisfaction:**
+ Lead your team in driving **sales performance** , guest engagement, and service standards to create a memorable experience.
+ Monitor performance, inventory, and key metrics to ensure continuous improvement. π
ποΈ **Manage Retail Operations:**
+ Ensure smooth and efficient operation of assigned commercial areas.
+ Work with the Retail Manager to manage **labor budgets** , **schedules** , and stock levels to meet seasonal needs.
+ Keep our displays fresh and invitingβ **visual appeal** matters! π¨β¨
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ **Lead & Motivate Your Team:**
+ Provide mentorship, motivation, and ongoing support to your team. Be the **role model** who drives success and a positive, proactive, fun work environment!
+ Handle challenges on the go, with a focus on **guest recovery** when needed. πͺ
π **Monitor & Improve:**
+ Constantly assess team performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.
+ Maintain **high standards** for cleanliness, safety, and technical operations. π§Ήπ οΈ
**What Youβll Bring to the Team:**
π **Experience & Leadership:**
+ Minimum 2 years of **supervisory experience** in a retail environment or visitor attraction.
+ Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team while maintaining excellent service standards. π₯π‘
πΌ **Sales & Customer Service Savvy:**
+ Excellent sales skills and a passion for providing exceptional service.
+ Ability to work in a **high-pressure environment** while maintaining professionalism. π
π§βπ» **Tech-Savvy:**
+ Comfortable using **computerized till systems** and inventory management tools. π₯οΈ
π‘ **Problem-Solving & Multi-Tasking:**
+ Ability to **juggle multiple tasks** and prioritize effectively in a busy retail environment.
+ Strong communication skills to clearly convey expectations and manage performance. π£οΈ
**Education & Experience:**
+ High School or GED required (College degree preferred).
+ At least 2 years of **supervisory experience** in retail or visitor attractions.
+ Experience with **inventory management** and **sales performance** is a plus!
