JOB SUMMARY: The Retail Supervisor is responsible for the operation, workflow and employees in all Retail Outlets. The Retail Supervisor ensures that high levels of customer service are executed, maintains asset protection as a high priority, and meets and exceeds revenue goals while managing department expenses.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: The Retail Supervisor is upbeat, positive, and energetic. They must be reliable and flexible; able to work any shifts requested to ensure adequate coverage for the department. They provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, ensuring the same is done by their employees.  The Retail Supervisor manages the daily activities, assigns tasks, and provides necessary information and communications in all Retail outlets. The Retail Supervisor actively promotes the selling of merchandise and drives increased revenue through their own efforts and by providing training, information and support to their team. They monitor and provide support for cash register operations; to include counting out and providing change for team members, maintaining their own cash drawer accurately as needed, and authorizing returns and exchanges in accordance with established policies. The Retail supervisor assists with training and coaching of new and existing employees; ensures all property required training is completed. They conduct assigned audits, service observations, and prepare assigned employee performance evaluations. The Retail Supervisor monitors the use of labor hours as scheduled and adjusts accordingly based on business demands.  They monitor and replenish merchandise stock levels to maximize sales, and monitor department supplies to ensure employees have all the tools to perform their duties. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for receiving and distributing daily shipments of merchandise and supplies; ensuring the highest level of accuracy. They ensure asset protection precautions are executed by all Retail team members. The Retail Supervisor must assist with Store Inventories (and advance prep work) as scheduled and assigned. The Retail Supervisor maintains a positive and productive rapport with their Manager, peers, Associates, other departments, vendors, and our corporate Retail partners. The Retail Supervisor is knowledgeable and able to assist the team with all equipment used in the department (registers, phones, calculator, and ticketing guns). They complete all department paperwork, reports and any assigned projects thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and established visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and cleanliness and organization in all storage areas and the back-stock room.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:  Previous Supervisory experience preferred, Health and Alcohol Awareness Card
