Summary
Provides project leadership, including defining the project's objectives and scope, overseeing quality control, acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects/products according to plan. The Retail Technology Project Manager will be responsible for projects related to Point of Sale/Dispenser and other IT equipment and software upgrades for retail service stations and convenience stores. This position may also involve projects related to development and implementation of “above site” technology such as mobile app, mobile payment, loyalty host, and payment switch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the successful outcome of Retail Technology projects Manages project life cycle from initiation through deployment and project closure Manages the day-to-day activities of projects, project staff, and vendors Creates, manages and tracks project documents, including, but not limited to: project schedules, including estimates versus actuals, project plans, scope of work documents, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues logs, and status reports Organizes, conducts, and attends meetings with project team to facilitate all levels of project planning Works with procurement, contract and legal teams to bid and award contracts for retail work Set policies and procedures to manage changes, communicate schedules, train technicians and users, create purchase orders and overall execution of work Works with project managers of other teams to ensure overall business needs are being met for company initiatives Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, and project status Drives decisions, including difficult tradeoffs that may be needed between resources, schedule, and functionality Manages multiple projects at one time At times may involve oversite of vendor execution of work Assists with onboarding of retail locations by procuring technology equipment and services from third party vendors

The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification, or plans to obtain it Understanding of Retail Technologies including Point of Sale and Communication SystemsWorking Conditions:

Usually, normal office working conditions. This is an onsite role Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required
