The Retail Trainer will provide holistic training support for HUGO BOSS Retail stores and concession stores from needs analysis through adaptation of global concepts to training delivery and training follow-up. The Retail Trainer will work closely with Retail Leadership, the Training Manager, US & CAN, as well as the Global Training Team. Training delivery & related activities will account for approximately 60% – 70% of the job with the balance comprising of admin duties including managing HB University.

The ideal candidate is dynamic and has a demonstrated passion for helping others learn and grow. This role is based in New York.

What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

\n\n\n\tPlan, Budget, & Coordinate training events in the NY Metro area, and beyond as needed.\n\tDeliver in-person and virtual training on the following topics (in no particular order): Brand, Product, Sales, Omnichannel, and more.\n\tRegular visits to stores in NYC and surrounding areas as needed.\n\tWork with German HQ and Training Manager to adapt and roll-out global training concepts.\n\tSupport Retail Leaders with development and implementation of regional training content to meet business needs.\n\tOwn training tracking and reporting \n\tManagement of Learning Management System (HB University)\n\tManage weekly newsletter input

Your profile:

\n\tBA degree or equivalent\n\t1 to 2 years of training and potentially selling experience in retail.\n\tAbility to quickly absorb new concepts\n\tStrong communication & presentation skills\n\tTravel - 25%\n\tWork a flexible schedule (as needed)\n\tA role model in customer service excellence, quality execution, and respectful cooperation.\n\tProficient in MSOffice Suite, able to quickly learn new IT systems / processes\n

\nThe expected base salary for this position is from $65,000 - $70,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
