Description MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: AMAZON.COM SERVICES LLC Position Title: Retail Vendor Manager II - SVS Location: Austin, Texas Position Responsibilities: Own the strategic direction and management of key vendor accounts. Engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize product line for key vendors. Drive negotiations and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor senior leadership. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional partner teams, including marketing, in-stock, biz tech, and Amazon Advertising. Develop and execute category assortment plan, including line reviews, assortment analysis, and item planning. Support supply chain forecasting and planning activities. Conduct ongoing analysis of category performance, trends, and competitive assortment and pricing. Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure early insight into new trends and products; early and exclusive access to new items; differentiated product; merchandising and promotions and competitive costs. Invent or iterate on processes to simplify, improve and expedite vendor and customer service levels. Continuously seek information to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to the business. Must have 1 year of experience in the following skills: 1. Dealing with buying, in-stock or account management; 2. Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders; 3. Experience managing large-scale inventory, product allocation and demand planning/forecasting.
