Retina Account Manager - Pacific Northwest

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retina Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this is a highly specialized account manager position on our Pharma team, covering a critical geography in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts within the market and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Retina market, ability to develop strong partnerships, as well as experience in sales and account management.

 

Responsibilities

Generate sales and provide account support to assigned account base. Primary accounts will be large, regional based accounts. Represent Bausch + Lomb Retina Ophthalmics at key regional and national industry meetings. Coordinate field activities with sales, marketing and reimbursement departments. Provide sales training support to new and existing hires with Retina sales responsibilities. Other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals with a minimum of 2 years with Ophthalmology sales experience, Retina experience preferred Demonstrated understanding of a 'buy and bill' sales environment Knowledge of reimbursement procedures Excellent communication and relationship building skills Ability to work with multiple departments simultaneously

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $130,000.00 and $180,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
