Retirement Benefits Partner

As a Retirement Benefits Partner you will manage plan compliance and deliver outstanding operations service to a broad range of U.S. employee and retiree groups delivering support in the key areas of Retirement. You will work in an operations environment that strives to deliver consistent, streamlined and user-friendly experiences.  This is a hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, reporting to the People Operations Benefits Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Manage plan compliance by monitoring the U.S. and P.R. Employee Savings Plan processing with the vendor and internal parties.

Manage plan compliance by monitoring the U.S. retirement and pension processing with the vendor and internal parties.

Ensure accurate U.S. pension data is maintained within the systems and coordinate delivery of timely and accurate pension payments.

Manage plan compliance by monitoring the U.S. defined contribution retirement plan monthly contribution calculations and ensure data accuracy in Workday.

Support report and data reviews of pending events, retroactive deaths, missing eligibility dates and service issues to deliver accurate U.S. retirement plan calculations.

Manage U.S. service for all service-related benefits (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, Vacation, Severance and Service Awards) in accordance with legal requirements and benefit plan documentation.

Serve as the U.S. escalation lead for benefit eligibility, calculations, service and data management inquiries.

Conduct ongoing integration file reviews to analyze, foster discussion and implement solutions with the vendor and internal IT resources.

Support vendor relationships for the U.S. retirement plans.

Support all U.S. retirement and service inquiries from the Benefits Service Center and PeoplePulse Support Center.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

2+ years of benefits experience

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to understand the inquiry/problem and drive towards resolution.

Strong analytical skills, ability to research multiple documents, systems and resources to ensure accuracy.

Ability to think about the user experience to ensure all processes are executed with ease and consistency.

Prior experience working with Oracle, Microsoft Suite and Workday is a plus.

Work efficiently in a team environment that fosters collaboration.

Act honestly and professionally, with discretion to participant´s sensitive information.
