We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retirement Consulting Actuarial Analyst role to join our dynamic team in Thailand. In this role, you will support our retirement consulting practice by analyzing data, developing retirement strategies, and assisting clients in achieving their retirement goals. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to provide insights and recommendations that drive effective retirement solutions.
We will count on you to:
Perform core pension valuation works (IAS19 / US GAAP), including data collection, review, and reconciliation of previous valuations, and prepare summaries of data, assets, and benefits as defined in the plan document.Prepare and review detailed analysis of pension valuation reports and accounting results for review by a Signing Actuary and Retirement Consultant.Conduct general actuarial modeling, spreadsheet modeling, and valuation calculations.Coordinate with Global Actuary to consolidate accounting valuation results.Engage in pension defined benefit and defined contribution projects, including plan design and investment performance benchmarking/monitoringWhat you need to have:
Strong academic record of accomplishment in numerical subjects such as Mathematics, Finance (Accounting/Management), Actuarial Sciences and Economics.Strong demonstration in communication, analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail.Ability to articulate complex and technical information in a concise manner.Self-initiative and curiosity in financial services, self-motivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team. Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with team members.Personal management in order to plan for foreseeable tasks. Manage the schedule for routine jobs, and be able to provide estimates of the time required to complete your tasks for senior management reporting.Work experience: 2-4 years of industry experience, welcoming candidates from banking, asset management, and investment advisory, insurance, financial services and consulting.What makes you stand out:
