Retirement Finance Specialist (hybrid/Dallas, TX)

What the day will look like : + Draft initial contracts using existing templates. + Supervise auto-renewing contracts to ensure planned fee increases are implemented (assist with needed documentation of increases). + Ensure project naming conventions are used (indicate ongoing vs. single year contracts). + Consistent use of departments, products, and activity types (based on provided guidance). + Ensure projects without contracts are connected to a client. + Maintain the project team list (if "enforce teams" option is used) + Build and maintain summary of each client contract (for reference). + Build revenue plan, billing plan, and all other contract attributes ensuring accuracy (using available reporting). + Compare AR terms in contract to invoice set up & confirm invoice contact is correct at set up. + Monitor revenue by contract based on internal thresholds & revenue delayed by unsigned contracts. + Prepare/update any client specific invoice attachments How this opportunity is different As a Retirement Finance Specialist, you will get to work with closely with Project Managers and other teammates to help organize projects and help our clients receive the best service. Collaborative efforts include: + Meeting with project manager to determine invoicing/project requirements + Reviewing fee support drafted by Project Manager and confirming revenue submission. + Supervising contract/project end dates and reporting in advance on expiring contracts to the project manager. + Creating and ensuring accuracy of monthly invoices for project managers. + Distributing project numbers to team and updating project status for prior year projects upon completion of work. + Coordinating set up for contracts with multi-practice involvement (ensuring compliance with thresholds for separate project/contract line set up) + Following up with colleagues that need to correct time submissions Skills and experience that will lead to success: + Ability to analyze and resolve financial issues + Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, intermediate functions) + Strong written and oral communication skills + Ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues across the globe and within various finance fields. + Appreciation of Sarbanes Oxley requirements. + High-reaching, strong teammate, willing to own responsibilities and take initiative. Preferred Experience: + Solid understanding of Workday Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or up to 3 years equivalent years of proven experience. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000-$63,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
