This job will manage and coordinate all the processes, functions and activities pertaining to the administration of assigned client accounts within the scope of the functions of the organizational unit, the administrative capacity classified on the account, and the governing documents of the accounts. Tasks may include account information set up and maintenance, account recordkeeping, transaction entry, statement scheduling, account review, and client communication, interaction, guidance and support, and business development. The position will serve as a primary contact between the Plan Sponsor (client), TPA, recordkeeper, and all exiting or prospective participants in the plan. All tasks are to be performed within the limits and expectations of the current policies and procedures.

 

 

This position may be filled as a Level I, II or III.  Additional responsibilities and qualifications apply.

Responsibilities Managing assigned portfolio of accounts (portfolio ranging from 10-100 accounts dependent on associate experience and job grade).Managing, controlling, and maintaining quality, accuracy, and completeness of all transactions, records, documents, and information regarding plan sponsors, accounts, participants, and related third parties within the confines of stated policy and procedures.Daily administration of client funds, asset positions and transaction requests, including funds receipts, disbursements, and asset movements.Facilitate and develop enrollment meetings for Plan Sponsors and participants, as needed.Work with the Plan Participant Relationship Manager and the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Advisor, as needed, to enact and engage in processes that assure efficient, complete, accurate and timely enrollment of participants, offering financial planning to suitable participants nearing retirement age, and offer suitable options for terminated participants with balances.Internal and external interaction, collaboration and communication with the Retirement Plan Advisor, Plan Participant Relationship Manager, Portfolio Manager Firm Operations, WM Risk Management, clients, participants and third parties.Accurately, timely and completely reviewing assigned accounts, including all relevant documentation, as stated by policy and procedure.Onboarding and/or closing accounts completely and accurately including document fulfillment, proper fee setting, and collaboration with Firm Operations on funding and asset movement.Maintain a continuous process of compliance review on assigned accounts and recommend/execute corrective action where necessary. Adapt compliance review and maintenance programs to any new applicable laws and/or regulations.Supporting the organizational unit and Wealth Management division as requested for projects or special operational events.Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Level III Additional Responsibilities:

Review monitoring reports and follow up with RPS Client Executives I/II, the Retirement Plan Advisor and Plan Participant Relationship Manager on items pending.
Track recordkeeping platform issues and updates and report to the status to the Administrative Committee.
Serve as Lead on special projects.
Work with the Institutional Account Manager to review procedures and recommend updates as needed.
Qualifications At least one of the following:Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience and 5 years of customer service experience, with at least 3 of the years in the administration of the types of accounts and clients relatedBachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience and 3 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unitGraduate Degree in a field related to the function of the organizational unit and 2 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit or in a field related to the graduate degree.Must be able to demonstrate an advanced level of Microsoft Office knowledge.Excellent time management skills with a detail-oriented diligence given toward tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interpret and define the applicable policies, procedures, federal and state laws, statutes, and regulations for effective and accurate account administration.Ability to communicate intelligently with internal and external stakeholders, clients and third parties. Must complete and comprehend SEI PLATO training assigned for the role.Must be willing to commit to external training as required.Graduate Degree in related field preferred.

Level II Additional Qualifications:

At least one of the following:

Graduate of Trust School
And 3 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; or

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
And 7 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; or

Graduate Degree in a field related to the function of the organizational unit
And 5 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit or in a field related to the graduate degree; or

Five years or more experience in the practice of law, third party administration, or professional accounting.

The associate must be able to demonstrate at least an intermediate level of knowledge of the types, complexity, respective governance, transactions and industry practices of the clients and accounts administered by the organizational unit.

CRSP or other Certification within the field of the organizational unit preferred.

Juris Doctor preferred.

CPA preferred.

Level III Additional Qualifications:

 

At least one of the following:
Graduate of Trust School plus 6 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; orBachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
And 10 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; orGraduate Degree in a field related to the function of the organizational unit
And 7 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit or in a field related to the graduate degree; orTen years or more experience in the practice of law, third party administration, or professional accounting.The associate must be able to demonstrate at least an advanced level of knowledge of the types, complexity, respective governance, transactions and industry practices of the clients and accounts administered by the organizational unit.CRSP, QKA, or other Certification within the field of the organizational unit preferred.Juris Doctor preferred.CPA preferred.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
