Description/Overview:

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Retirement Plan Specialist (“RPS”) Team. The RPS role acts as a personable account manager to clients, while finding opportunities to grow business from within the existing client.  This can be accomplished by growing the client’s retirement plans by increasing participation, maximizing account contributions, and facilitating rollover transactions into the plan from outside accounts. The RPS will also serve as the liaison for the client, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a strong relationship with the client’s leadership.

Candidates will be trained and required to master concepts relating to the employee's retirement options, concepts include but not limited to: TRS/Government/State Pensions, Social Security, and Supplemental retirement account options 401(k), 457, 403(b). Successful candidates will display the capacity and willingness to learn, exhibit professional and effective communication skills, and be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Candidates will provide investment guidance, and counsel employees on their options. The candidate will train to master employee retirement plan options and stay up to date on current legislative and regulatory issues affecting employee retirements.

Objectives:

·        Direct liaison between the Client and TCG, HUB

·        Manage a strong Client relationship

·        Identify additional sales opportunities for Clients

·        Provide exceptional service by meeting SLA requirements

·        Retain Client Assignments/Client retention

·        Educate the employee on their retirement picture, including TRS/Government/State Pensions, Social Security, and Supplemental Retirement accounts (401(k), 457(b), 403(b))

·        Maintain a level of Operational knowledge to be able to assist the Client and plan participants with processes and transactions

·        Increase participation in retirement plans

Key Job Tasks:

·        Assist employees with any retirement or financial needs

·        Develop and manage client relationships with key employees

·        Prepare and analyze Client Health Reports

·        Provide ongoing legislative and regulatory updates to Client and participants

·        Engage in retirement planning & education at employee events

·        Manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors

·        Manage communication between the client and internal teams to support existing processes

·        Assist with benefits fairs, retirement seminars, open enrollments, and one-on-one appointments hosted by the employer

·        The Series 65 license is preferred

·        Travel may be required
