Equitable is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Retirement Solutions Sales Desk Manager to lead and manage a high-performing sales desk dedicated to providing concierge-level support to key retirement clients and their advisors. This individual will drive the team's efforts in educating clients about retirement options, ensuring lapsed contributions are resumed, and increasing contributions for active clients. The manager will also collaborate with servicing agents to identify rollover opportunities within 403(b) plans, all while achieving retention, renewal, and rollover goals.

Key Job Responsibilities

Team Management Leadership:Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals focused on providing personalized, high-touch service to retirement plan participants and advisors.Set clear expectations and performance goals for team members, including retention, renewal, and rollover targets.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team huddles, and performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting targets and adhering to best practices.Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment where team members are encouraged to exceed client expectations.
Client Education Engagement:Oversee proactive outreach to key retirement clients, ensuring they are well-informed about their retirement options and strategies to maximize savings and investment growth.Ensure the team effectively communicates the importance of continued contributions and the benefits of resuming or increasing contributions for both active and lapsed participants.Develop and implement educational materials and resources for clients and advisors to help them understand rollover options, contribution strategies, and retirement planning.Rollover Strategy Execution:Work closely with servicing agents and internal partners to identify and capitalize on rollover opportunities within client 403(b) plans.Establish processes for identifying potential rollovers, ensuring a smooth transition for clients, and driving rollovers to higher-value investment products and accounts.Ensure that the team is meeting or exceeding annual rollover goals, with a focus on driving meaningful results for clients’ financial futures.Metrics Reporting:Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to team performance, including retention, renewal, and rollover conversion rates.Analyze trends and develop strategies to continually improve performance and meet/exceed team goals.Provide regular updates to senior leadership on team progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.Collaboration Cross-Functional Support:Collaborate with other departments, such as client servicing, operations, and compliance, to ensure a seamless client experience.Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to share client insights and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation in service offerings.Compliance Risk Management:Ensure the team adheres to all regulatory guidelines, compliance standards, and company policies in the execution of rollover and retirement plan services.Stay updated on industry trends, retirement plan regulations, and investment products to ensure the team remains compliant and competitive.

The base salary for this position is $90,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

Required Qualifications

FINRA Series 26 license required or the ability to obtain within 180 days of hire 5 years of experience in retirement services, sales, or client management2 years of experience in a leadership roleDemonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales team and achieving sales targets, particularly related to retirement accounts, rollovers, and client retention Strong knowledge of retirement products and services, including 401(k), 403(b), IRA rollovers, and retirement planning strategies

Preferred Qualifications
