\nWe are looking for a Retread Technician.
\n
\nRequirements: 
\nA Retread Technician must have the desire to perform above and beyond the requirements set forth in this job description. Adheres to the McCarthy Tire Service policies and standards.\n\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\n\tMust successfully pass background and drug test\n\tPrevious experience in a manufacturing preferred.\n\tMust be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.\n\tMust be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.\n\tMust be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.\n\tMust possess a mechanical aptitude.\n\tComplying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.\n\tSome shift work and/or work on Saturdays may be required.\n\nJob Descriptions:
\nResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:\n\n\tInspecting and buffing tire carcasses for retreading.\n\tApplying rubber compounds to retread the tire.\n\tCuring retreaded tires.\n\tQuality control of finished product.\n\tScanning tires in at each retread step to ensure accuracy of where each tire is currently located.\n\tObserving and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.\n\tUsing protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.\n\tAny other duties requested by management.\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
