Job Title: Retrofit Operations Supervisor
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Retrofit Operations Supervisor
Lead and take ownership of the “Day to Day” admin operations of the Retrofit department by assisting in mentoring, improving the operational systems, and processes and policies for staff/admin personnel. Will assign tasks to admin personnel, process assessment & improvement, and customer support. Conduct retrofit meetings, create and maintain safety culture Sign off authority up to $100,000Provide direction and technical support to project support staff (PA’s & PC’s) that in turn support project management & the field for a successful project. Consult with the PMs and retrofit superintendents to maintain & support software tools to improve project efficiency & productivity. Support the project review process and work with PMs to ensure projects are effectively managed for accurate accounting and profitability. Maintain accurate accounting requirements with purchase orders, invoices, p-cards, billing, payables & receivables, etc. Oversee closing out of projects to ensure that closeout documents and warranties are provided to the customer Help to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Project Managers and Project coordinators Perform annual reviews of direct report (admin personnel), timecards, and approve personal time off Maintain smooth working relationships with retrofit and other operational departments Review / propose business process and organizational planning for the Retrofit group Provide input for processes to eliminate deficiencies. Participate in long-term planning and directives towards operational excellenceJob Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)
High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years' experience in retrofit/construction, specifically in a “faced paced” environment. Leadership courses preferred. Strong knowledge of MS 365 products Written or verbal communication? Strong communication skills Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management Knowledge of business and management principles and practices a plus. Knowledge of human resource principles and practices a plus. Compensation Range: $45 - $55 per hour
