Job Overview:

The Returns Clerk is responsible for the receiving and distribution of products that have been returned to Horizon from all customers via the RMA system. During this process the Returns Clerk will have to review the product for its ability to be resold. The Return Clerk will have to maintain good relations with various customers and manufacturers to facilitate retuning products to the original manufacturers or our warehouse within a timely manner. The Returns Clerk will be responsible for communicating with Vendors, Customers, Warehouse personnel, Accounting, Sales, Customer Service, and the Data teams.  

Outcomes:

Receive and stage incoming RMA product Determine condition of product received Process RMA in ERP Return warranty items to manufacturer(s) Generate credits or move product to stock Re-box and Re-label returned items as needed Follow up with vendors and customers to resolve outstanding RMAs Collaborate with Accounting department to ensure proper credits Maintain RMA processing levels of 40 RMA’s processed per day

 

Essential Competencies

Conversant and comfortable with the Windows OS and MS Office Must be able to adapt quickly to new computer programs Must demonstrate exemplary detailed record-keeping skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to work as an effective team member Ability to classify qualities of an item

 

Qualifications:

Attention to Detail Excellent communications skills and proficiency with computers Pool and/or Spa Product Knowledge not required but a plus
